Indication |

Acute asthma. Anaphylactic shock. Advanced cardiac life support. Ocular hypertension. Open angle glaucoma. |

Contra Indication |
: |
Preexisting hypertension, occlusive vascular disease, angle-closure glaucoma, hypersensitivity, cardiac arrhythmias or tachycardia.
Adr should not be given during anaesthesia with halothane to patients receiving Beta blockers. |

Caution |
: |
CV diseases, hyperthyroidism, DM, Parkinsons disease, elderly, pregnancy and lactation. |

Side Effect |
: |
Transient restlessness, palpitation, anxiety, tremor, pallor. Marked rise in BP, ventricular tachycardia/fibrillation, angina, myocardial infarction. |
